The European Tourism Forum is an annual event organised by the EU Member State holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the second half of the calendar year, in co-operation with the European Commission.
The 15th edition of the European Tourism Forum will be held in the capital city of Slovakia – Bratislava on 11th October 2016.
The Forum will be dedicated to an exchange of views with Public Authorities, European associations, international organisations, representatives of the industry and other stakeholders on topics which are crucial for the future competitiveness and sustainable growth of the European tourism sector.
The Forum will be focused on three priority areas:
- A Favourable Business Environment for the Competitiveness of the EU Tourism Sector – Taxation.
- Collaborative Economy in the Tourism Sector.
- Digital Transformation in the EU Tourism Sector.
Andalucía Lab is a pioneering centre for innovation in tourism and business. The objective of Andalucia Lab is to equip Andalusian businesses with fundamental knowledge which can allow them to make informed decisions and become skilled in new technologies to propel their companies forward.
Andalucía Lab will participate in this Forum with a talk about the digital transformation in the UE Tourism Sector.
